Abstract

With the introduction of the summer school in Austria, universities are strongly encouraged to implement it as a new learning format for the Pedagogical Practical Studies. The article presents an example for the conception of an accompanying course to the summer school that considers the diverse backgrounds and prior experiences of participating students, as well as providing time and space for curricular-based mentoring and advise across all pedagogical internship courses. For this purpose, the summer school is classified as a learning field in the developmental fields of student teachers and the framework concept for an accompanying course is presented.
