Abstract

The aim of the project was to create a collegial working group between students of the teaching profession and history teachers. Hierarchical structures were broken down in order to successfully combine the competencies of the participants. In contrast to the school internships, students approach the teachers with expertise. The exchange is less one-sided and more mutually beneficial. In the sense of a community of practice, this concept not only offers students the opportunity to apply and reflect on their knowledge, but also enables teachers to participate in didactic research in history at universities as well as reflect and apply this in school practice. The aim of the project is to put forward a proposal how to use the potential of the universities and the expertise of the students in the further training courses for teachers. This will also help disseminate didactic research and offer students further opportunities to gain school experience.
