Abstract

The following article discusses the “International Perspectives”-program, which offers annual excursions to different European countries for teacher training students at Bielefeld University since 2016 as part of BiProfessional and the Qualitätsoffensive Lehrerbildung. The article gives an overview concerning international experiences during teacher training in the “International Perspectives”program, presents first research results of the program and deals with the question how international excursions can promote critical and reflective thinking in teacher training students.
